چکیده

The composition and content of sugar acid are important indicators organ development the quality horticultural products. B. juncea is an vegetable in cruciferous family, with a swollen fleshy stem as edible organ. Elucidating characteristics accumulation during expansion mustard its regulatory mechanism could enhance quality. In this study, physiological such dry matter content, sugar–acid related enzyme activities were measured eight stages tumorous stem. results showed that sucrose contents initially increased then decreased development: Sucrose exhibited positive correlation synthase phosphate synthase, while was highly positively correlated malate dehydrogenase. Further analysis dynamic patterns metabolite using metabolomics 1097 metabolites detected, including 229 organic acids derivatives, 109 lipids, other metabolites. Metabolic pathway enrichment significantly enriched acids, amino glycolysis/gluconeogenesis, starch, metabolism. Analysis tricarboxylic cycle revealed obvious differences type metabolites, most upregulated S3 S4. expression genes associated biosynthesis found based on differentially expressed at different developmental stages, gene levels verified by qPCR, which consistent accumulation. These suggest sugars, play critical role regulating stems. Results present study offer theoretical basis to improving approach determine dynamics enzymes between these levels, provides novel insights into potential mechanisms underlying

Metabolomics Analysis of Mesenchymal Stem Cells

Various mesenchymal stem cells as easily accessible and multipotent cells can share different essential signaling pathways related to their stemness ability. Understanding the mechanism of stemness ability can be useful for controlling the stem cells for regenerative medicine targets. In this context, OMICs studies can analyze the mechanism of different stem cells properties or stemness ability...

Ethylene Production during Development of Mustard (Brassica juncea) and Canola (Brassica napus) Seed.

An open, continuous flow system was used to investigate ethylene production during degreening of maturing seed of mustard (Brassica juncea cv Cutlass and cv Lethbridge 22A) and canola (Brassica napus cv Westar and cv Alto). Isolated mustard seed evolved higher amounts of ethylene than those of canola, and this was particularly evident both early in embryogeny and later during the desiccation ph...

Accumulation of γ-aminobutyric acid and transcription of glutamate decarboxylase in Brassica juncea (L.) Czern

Mustard leaf (Brassica juncea (L.) Czern.) using as material of a traditional fermented vegetable food (Kimchi) in Korea, is one of the important vegetables. Two cultivars of mustard (red and green) were grown in the experimental farm of Chungnam National University and allowed them to grow until flowering stage. In this study, the variability of γ-aminobutyric acid (GABA) content and mRNA tran...

Variability of Fatty Acid Composition in Interspecific Hybrids of Mustard Brassica Juncea and Brassica Napus

In Sri Lanka, mustard (Brassica juncea) is cultivated as a subsidiary crop for the seeds used as a condiment in cooking. In the Indian sub-continent, however, it is an important oilseed crop used as a source of vegetable oil. Mustard has over 45% erucic acid (C22:1) which is unsuitable nutritionally for human consumption. The Brassica oilseed species, B. napus and B. campestris, were developed ...
